Share Your Passion

To be self-sustainable is to use the local and natural resources that are readily available in the area to their full potential. The Din Dang Natural Building and Living Centre was established in 2007 as a learning centre that aims to share the knowledge and technique of natural buildings and self-sustainability to the people. “Din Dang” is Thai for “red soil”, referring to the primary element of natural building, and everyone at Din Dang always work with the soil, either in natural building construction or in the organic plantation that grows plants based on permaculture principles. Rewat Thongbunchu or Bow, the founder of Din Dang, is continuously and effortlessly working on adding and maintaining building to the project, so that this education centre can double up as a living centre where natural building enthusiasts can share their passions and experience. By spending time at Din Dang, volunteers will discover how easy it is and how wonderful it feels to live in a house that you build with your own hands and eat the food from your own garden.
