Ban Ta Yuak is a 2 cultures, 2 languages (Laos and Khmer) community. Villagers’ main income is from growing Jasmine rice while weaving silk as their secondary income. There are many silk unique patterns such as Hol, Sri Phumi, Sa Ket, applied, and many other patterns that have won many awards.
