Experience the Southern local way of life that harmonizes with the abundant nature of Khao Luang and Nakhon Si Thammarat Mountain Range. Phrom Lok Community welcomes travelers to experience the Southern charms together with the locals during their visit. The locals here live closely with the nature of great abundance, allowing villagers to cultivate various types of plants including para rubber, vegetables, and betel nut palm. Benefiting from healthy minerals in soil and water in the area, the main occupation of the locals is agriculture. Travelers will experience authentic flavors of Southern dishes that feature these agricultural products, for example, Bai Liang Phat Khai (Stir-Fried Melinjo Leaves with Eggs), Kaeng Som (Southern Hot And Sour Soup with Mixed Vegetables), Tam Yam La Mut (Spicy Sapodilla Salad), Phat Sa To (Stir-Fried Stink Beans), along with traditional Southern desserts like Khanom La, a wide selection of fresh fruits such as rambutan, mangosteen, durian, sapodilla, langsat, and Southern coffee.

To stay overnight, travelers can try a homestay to experience the simple local lifestyle. For instance, waking up early in the morning to offer alms to the monks, roaming around the community on a bike to help reduce the pollution, watching the Southern signature dance performance of Manora. Moreover, they can learn the local ways of life such as rubber tapping, mushroom farming, grass broom making, or Suan Som Rom, a local wisdom of the South on mixed gardening where fruit, flowering, ornamental, and herbal plants are grown in the same area without destroying previously existing plants. The neighborhood is also home to Phrom Lok Waterfall, an enormous and beautiful waterfall with vast stone terrace and prehistoric ferns that can only be seen here. Travelers can saunter down the nature study trail to learn more about ecology and biodiversity. Villagers at Phrom Lok Community are happy to warmly welcome travelers to come and learn the local ways of life, culture, and arts to gain a better understanding of what the community really is and help    the community preserve these intriguing ways of life in its original form for a long time.
