Expansive grounds surrounding the prison has been relandscaped into a knowledge center for well behaved inmates to learn and equip themselves with agricultural know how to rebuild their lives upon release. The knowledge center run training programs on crop tending, flower growing, and raising livestock. The center and its grounds are open to visitors year round.
