• Baan Mueang Pam is one of the oldest White Karen communities in Thailand. It is located 80 kilometres north-east of Mae Hong Son.

 

  • Baan Mueang Pam offers a full-day tour programme, which involves visiting mountains and rice paddies.

 

  • In the morning, you can enjoy the scenery as you drive on the mountain road for 1.5–2 hours. After that, walk beside the Lang River for about 2-2.5 hours while taking in the beautiful scenery of rice paddies, then stop for lunch at a fish conservation area and head to Yao Cave, where you can marvel over the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave. Finally, head back to the village and watch the local Karen as they weave bamboo baskets and local cloth on looms. After that, the tour returns to Mae Hong Son.
