Khlong Ta Leun is a clear natural stream winding through a private rubber plantation. The stream is the last known habitat of rare and endemic aquatic plant, Crinum thaianum, also known as Thai water onion. Dubbed the queen of streams, the water onion grows only in clean running stream; its green onion-like leaves flow along in a densely packed steam while producing elegant aromatic white lily-like flower during transition period between rainy season and winter.
