Old Thai-Portuguese neighborhood established since Ayutthaya era. The riverside neighborhood is known for its diverse inhabitants living together harmoniously; although much of the neighborhood’s identity is still heavily influenced by Portuguese culture. The most prominent building is the Roman Catholic Santa Cruz Church, originally built in 1770 but has since gone through several renovations. Visitors can explore the neighborhood’s old buildings, Kudi Chin Museum, as well as take pastry course on how to make Khanom Farang Kudi Chin, an iconic raisin cake influenced by Portuguese pastry. Towards the Chao Phraya River, visitor can visit Buddha Statue Museum, Prayurawongsawat Temple, and enjoy graffiti wall arts along the way.
