Baan Ta Yuak is a 2-culture 2-language community (Laos and Khmer). The villagers’ main income is from planting jasmine rice and weaving silk as a secondary income. Their woven silk has many unique patterns: Hol pattern, Sri Phumi pattern, Sakret pattern, applied pattern, and Srang pattern that has been given many awards.
